Nature Walk in Shelford Saturday 21 August

Our next walk will be along Jenny’s path towards Hauxton, meeting at the signposted entrance gate on Church Street, Great Shelford, opposite the junction with King’s Mill Lane. Many people will be able get here on foot or by cycle; but if coming by car, park on Church Street.
We shall be concentrating on wayside plants and trees. We shall turn back after 45 minutes as it should take less time on the return as we will have stopped and discussed the plants on the way. People are of course free to return according to ability.
As before stout footwear is advised and also long trousers as a precaution against any nettle/brambles. Sun protection is also advised if appropriate and water if it’s a hot day. This walk will be at participants’ own risk.
