FOSSIL FUEL DIVESTMENT AND WHY IT MATTERS

By the end of the last Parliament, over 300 cross-party MPs were calling on their pension fund to divest from fossil fuels. Is this enough? How many other organisations are following suit? Dr James Smith, Public Health Consultant, University of Cambridge, will lead our discussion on the importance of divestment and whether we are moving quickly enough to have a significant ameliorating effect on climate change.
