Repair cafe in Great Shelford

Our repair cafe in Great Shelford on 21st September was well attended as usual, with a range of items from torn jackets and rucksacks with broken zips, to coffee machines, head torches and sewing machines all being successfully restored to life.

The efforts of the repairers can be seen from the Fixometer, which assesses the positive impact of maintaining an existing item compared to discarding it. Here’s the data for this event.

Our thanks to the Great Shelford Free Church for the use of the venue.

Our next repair cafe is in Sawston on 23rd November. And we will be back in Great Shelford next year with a repair cafe at Great Shelford Memorial Hall on 22nd February.
