Public Consultation on the future of transport in and around Cambridge

The Greater Cambridge Partnership (GCP) is consulting on its plans to improve travel in Greater Cambridge.  This includes the now widely publicised ‘congestion charge’ proposals, but there is much more to it than that.  Please make time to read the consultation brochure and respond with a considered view – the survey is open until 23 December.

Better Ways for Busways (BW4B), which campaigns against the GCP proposed busway from Babraham to the Cambridge Biomedical Campus through the 2G3S area, now has a website.

Report on our Repair Cafe in Sawston 22nd November

Good to see so many customers at our Repair Café in Sawston on 22nd November, a big increase on last year.  This meant our repairers were busy throughout, and the event had a great vibe with plenty going on but no-one needing to wait too long to get to see a repairer.

As is usually the case, as well as the items fixed on the day, some more complicated problems can be resolved with the right advice, a bit more time and the right spare part.  You can view the Fixometer review of the outcome here.

We are already thinking about our next repair café which will be in Great Shelford on 7th February.   Bookings for this one open on 13th December.   More info here.
