DESCRIPTION:This repair cafe is jointly organised between 2G3S and Eco Whittlesford. \nBring along your broken item and a skilled volunteer will help you fix it!  We can tackle a wide variety of repairs including jewellery\, clothes and fabrics as well as electrical and electronic devices. \nPlease do book in your item for repair – this helps us plan our schedule so we can avoid people having to wait\, and also means we can do our homework in advance to assess the repair. \nHere is the link to the booking form: \nhttps://bit.ly/m/2G3S-RepairCafes \nBookings will open at the beginning of March\, and will remain open until the Tuesday before the event (21st April) or until we reach full capacity. \nWe will send out confirmations in the week before the event.   Please note that we will not be able to replace cracked screens on phones or tablets. The repairers are brilliant and can fix a lot of things but there are no guarantees. \nPlease bear in mind that we are always busiest when the cafe opens at 2pm – best to aim to arrive on time for your booked slot if you have one\, or anytime between 2:15 and 4:15 if you don’t have a booking. \nYou can read more about what happens at a repair cafe in our blog post. \nWe will collect portable non-working (unfixable) electrical items and ensure these are properly disposed of.

DESCRIPTION:  \n \nSix Inches of Soil is film made in the UK by a production team based in Cambridge\, and first released in 2024.  It features the inspiring story of British farmers standing up against the industrial food system and transforming the way they produce food – to heal the soil\, benefit our health and provide for local communities. \nThe screening will commence at 7pm.   The run time of the film is 96 minutes. \nYou can find out more about the film on the Six Inches of Soil website. \nThis screening is part of the Stapleford Weekend 2026 \nThere will be an opportunity for discussion afterward the screening\, and a pizza van will be at the event so you can grab something to eat before the film starts.  Liquid refreshments will also be on sale. \nTickets will be on sale via the Stapleford Weekend website.
