Our latest Repair Café where we shall repair electrical, electronic and mechanical items, bikes, textiles, jewellery, and general bits & bobs.  Watch the repairers work on your item and get their advice; have a cuppa and piece of cake while you wait.  All free; donations welcome.  You can just turn up with your item, but you may have to wait; it’s better to book it in.  Bookings will be open from 3 – 27 February inclusive – go to circularcambridge.org…

Guided Nature Walk: Stapleford Parish Pit

A wildflower walk to Stapleford Parish Pit led by 2G3S member John 0’Boyle.  There is uneven ground on the site so sturdy footwear is advised.  There is no charge for this event. Stapleford Chalk Pit is a small nature reserve adjoining Magog Downs, managed by a group of Friends under the trusteeship of the Parish Council.  The pit was formed by the extraction of a hard chalk (clunch) for use as a building material and the repair of local roads. …
