Screening Thursday 18 July, 7.30pm, at the Storey’s Field Centre, Eddington, Cambridge

This documentary film, produced for Fulbourn Forum, has been filmed and directed by Nigel Kinnings, who was the cinematographer of Tony Eva’s Pure Clean Water. The film’s premiere was held on 10 May in Fulbourn to a capacity audience of 140.
Fugolburna, the title of the film, is the Anglo Saxon name for Fulbourn – meaning stream frequented by birds.
The film itself is a call to protect and restore Fulbourn’s and the Wilbraham’s chalk streams which are currently in crisis. It also celebrates the Fulbourn Fen Nature Reserve and beyond. and shows the efforts made by the local community and environment groups to support nature recovery in our area, and to maintain and improve the health of local ecosystems.
The screening will be followed by a short Q&A session. Dr Steve Boreham and Stephen Tomkins are planning to attend and help with the session.
