Perspectives on the Future of Personal Transport

This conversation evening is designed to be engaging and enjoyable.

There have been several trends in personal transport over the last few years and we will be concentrating on two of them. Both have an environmental impact. These two trends are coming together with the advent of electric cars.

We will start off with a short team quiz embracing the two trends so everyone has the same knowledge. The quiz will then broaden out into items for discussion.

At the end of the discussion, we will examine some of the considerations for buying an electric vehicle, and this will then lead to considerations of local infrastructure, government policy and maybe, if time permits,  geopolitical impacts that will limit vehicle choices.

It is almost certain you will learn something about electrical vehicles, their environmental impacts, and possibly something about climate change including the two events in 1957 that really initiated the knowledge base we have built up today.
