Book Club 19 May

Welcome to the new 2G3S Book Club where we are going to be discussing books (and articles, podcasts etc) with an environmental theme. We are going to start with ‘Doughnut Economics’ by Kate Raworth and are meeting at The Rose, Stapleford, at 7.30 pm on Thursday 19 May.
All are welcome to come along and join the discussion. Ideally you will have read at least some of the book beforehand, but if it is one of those books you have always meant to read but not got around to, why not come along anyway and find out more about it? You can just turn up on the day, but it would help us to have an idea of numbers, so if possible drop us a line (see below).
Your ideas for future books will also be welcome. We are currently considering, among others, ‘Climate Justice’ by Mary Robinson; ‘English Pastoral’ by James Rebanks; and ‘Wilding’ by Isabella Tree.
The group will probably meet quarterly.
