Could the strategic planning meeting include identifying strategy to prevent species devastation, wildfires and flooding ? Could it include leaving log piles at regular intervals so field mice can escape from the cats and dogs ? Nature walking, bike riding and even retrofitting are unlikely to hack it though painting roofs white will increase reflectivity if included. Loss of reflectivity accounts for about half annual warming but we are so focused on emission reduction that restoring reflectivity is not considered. We are deaf to the fact that stopping emissions today would not halt the warming process for years. For our children’s sake please could we at least try all avenues before it is too late to try any of them. Reply
