We were not sure how busy we would be, given that this event was at the end of the summer break, so perhaps people had not heard about it. We need not have worried – we were busy!. 46 items were brought in for repair, of which 28 were pre-booked and the rest walk-ins. Overall, over 50% were successful repairs, with many of the remainder fixable with the right spare. All the cake miraculously disappeared over the course of the morning, as is generally the case! There was a great atmosphere with unanimously positive comments received, both on the feedback forms and from talking to people as they left.
